Are your injectors Bosch or Lucas?
PEUGEOT ROTARY INJECTORS - EARLY and LATER TYPES

Bosch  and Lucas are fitted to many rotary diesel engines from the big manufacturing companies. Peugeot fit both Lucas and Bosch... Volkswagen probably tend to use mainly Bosch but have been known to fit the lucas equipment. Lucas (also called CAV in it's time)  has now changed hands and is subsumed under the huge Delphi corporation.

The picture above should help!...notice the difference in the top body shape....follow it down from the threaded inlet at the very top of the injector

Peugeot, Ford, Volkswagen....all of these manufacturers have fitted both Lucas and Bosch equipment ..e.g. some Peugeot 205 have Lucas some Bosch

PEUGEOT ROTARY INJECTORS - EARLY and LATER TYPES

The Injectors pictured left are the early type with exposed nozzle..that's the shiny bit at the bottom. Later Peugeots with DW8 rotary equipment were fitted with a 'shielded' nozzle  type of injector.

Shielded nozzle is pictured on the right - the nozzle is inside the nozzle retaining nut.
