Identifying the FPS fitted to your car |
The aim of this page is to provide more information about fuel pressure
sensors.
All Common Rail Diesel Engines are fitted with fuel pressure sensors.
In European cars the most common make is Bosch; followed by Delphi and Siemens and then
Denso
To find out which sensor is fitted in your car the most reliable way is to read the id number
- usually stamped into the plastic or printed on a metal surface.
There are other types of sensors fitted to modern fuel injected petrol and diesel
engines
e.g. Mass Air Flow meter, cam position sensor, crank position sensor.
Please contact us to see if we can help with any of these.
Details of some prices are available on our webpage. Please contact us for other
prices and the stock situation and compatibility of one style of sensor with another. The different makes of sensor
are Bosch, Delphi, Siemens and Denso.
