The Turbotune Module is supplied pre-programmed to your specific vehicle. If your vehicle is a Mondeo TDCi you will need a module programmed to that vehicle's specification.

PLUG and PLAY

The Turbotune Module is Plug and Play. Two Plugs enable you to fit it in the circuit between the Fuel Pressure Sensor and the Ecu

HOW DOES IT WORK?

There are 3 switches (see illustration) top is On- Off, the middle switch for TORQUE settings and the bottom switch for Brake Horse Power (BHP). You can set these in any arrangement you choose. This allows you to experiment and vary settings at any time. (engine must be switched off)

At the heart of the Module is a Single Chip Controller (SCM). The SCM continuously samples and remaps the Fuel Pressure Sensor signal (20,000/second) in near real time.

TORQUE or BHP?

Torque is greatest in the rev range up to 2,500 rpm. The Turbotune Module gives You the option to control TORQUE (controls fueling below 2,500 RPM) in this rev range.

BHP – In the higher rev range the BHP switch has more influence on the peak BHP output.

You can choose the response you want.

CHANGE SETTINGS AT ANY TIME

The settings You choose can be changed (with the engine switched off) at anytime to suit the prevailing conditions e.g. hilly terrain driving requires more Torque...

FITTING

SPECIFIC TO YOUR VEHICLE

The Turbotune Module is NOTGENERIC. It is supplied pre-programmed to Your vehicle. (eg Mondeo TDCi) and will be reprogrammed (Free of charge) if you wish to move it to another vehicle. (If the module requires a new cable when moving to a new vehicle the fitting charge and reprogramming is just £20 + p&p)

IS IT SAFE?

The Turbotune Module is COMPLETELY SAFE. - It can be switched off at any time (see more detailed instruction below) Removal is as easy as fitting!
